Daniel T. Dalena

Associate Attorney

Daniel T. Dalena is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey. He is based out of the firm’s Newark office. He focuses on civil litigation personal injury matters, matters involving automobile negligence and premises liability.

He graduated Cum Laude from Seton Hall University School of Law and received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania. At Seton Hall University School of Law, Mr. Dalena was the recipient of Land Finance Award for Outstanding Student.

Prior to joining Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks, Kahn Wikstrom & Sinins, he was Senior Litigation Counsel to a publicly traded company and was trial counsel in prosecuting and defending actions against the company in New Jersey courts and arbitration proceedings. Dan oversaw class actions involving alleged consumer fraud, regulatory violations, Universal Service Fund issues, and WARN Act violations; multi-plaintiff employment litigation; and whistleblower litigation.

Prior to that, Daniel worked for an insurance defense litigation firm and litigated over 20 jury trials to verdict in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Morris, Monmouth, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren County.

Daniel was also an Assistant Prosecutor in Morris County for over a decade and litigated over 50 jury trials to verdict. While an Assistant Prosecutor, Daniel was promoted to Supervisor of the Trial Unit and the Vehicular Homicide Unit.

He is an active member of the New Jersey Association for Justice.
