Marc Orlow

Marc M. Orlow was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar after graduating from Delaware School of Law, Cum Laude, in 1979, and the New Jersey Bar in 1994 after previously graduating from Penn State University, with honors, in 1976. Mr. Orlow previously worked in the tax department of the accounting firm Cooper and Lybrand, focusing on corporate tax matters. Since 1993 Mr. Orlow, along with partner Ross Begelman through Begelman & Orlow, has focused his practice on Qui Tam cases under the Federal and various State False Claims Act cases as well as employment law, employee discrimination and other Federal and State whistleblower laws. During this tenure, Begelman & Orlow represented whistleblowers in over 170 qui tam cases with settlements totaling over one hundred million dollars. The focus of Mr. Orlow’s representation is high quality legal services in complex matters that generates imaginative, creative solutions with aggressive representation on behalf of the client’s needs and goals. This aggressive representation has lead to numerous successful precedential cases on behalf of whistelblowers won by Begelman & Orlow at the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

From a community and public service perspective, Mr. Orlow has a long and varied history of public service. He has served in an elected position on the Colonial School Board for fifteen years (1994 - 2009) in Montgomery County Pennsylvania and President of the School Board for nine years (2001 - 2009). Mr. Orlow has also served on the Board of Trustees as Board Chair Education Works, a non profit group which provided services to urban School Districts such as Philadelphia and Camden. Mr. Orlow serves on the Mid-Atlantic Counsel of the National Parks Conversation Association. Passionate about the National Parks, Mr. Orlow has visited over 225 National Parks sites.
