Sarah Monaghan

Ms. Monaghan graduated from the College of William & Mary with a degree in Government. She later received her J.D. with Honors from Rutgers Law School. Ms. Monaghan is an experienced corporate attorney whose practice includes real estate and business matters for large and small businesses, including business origination; sales and purchases of businesses; commercial real estate sale and lease agreements; and commercial loan transactions on behalf of the borrower.
Ms. Monaghan spent the first ten years of her career as an attorney in the Environmental Department of Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti, handling regulatory, transactional, and litigated matters for companies ranging in size from Fortune 500 to small family-owned businesses. When her children were small, she left Riker Danzig and began a solo practice handling appellate matters for the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender, Office of Parental Representation, which she still does to this day. Prior to joining Javerbaum, Ms. Monaghan was Of Counsel with Dilts & Koester, later Koester Law, LLC, a boutique firm that handled commercial transactional and litigation matters.
