Maritime / Longshore and Defense Base Act
We fight for civilian workers who have been hired by American companies to work on overseas projects, worldwide.
In Middle Eastern countries, there are currently thousands of civilian employees working in the reconstruction of war torn areas as well as assisting the American military. Companies such as Halliburton, Bechtel, Dyncorp, Kellogg, and Brown & Root (KBR), have been contracted by the U.S. Government, and have been deployed to places such as Japan, Korea, Germany, Italy, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Panama, Turkey, Hungary, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Guam and many other countries, often being placed in harm’s way. Wherever civilian contractors are contracted to aid in the mission of the United States government, their employees risk the possibility of on the job injuries.
We currently represent numerous workers from around the United States and are pursuing their cases due to a variety of injuries, from head, back, neck, arm, shoulder, hand, knee and/or leg and foot injuries, to gunshot wounds that produced catastrophic injury and even death. We believe in our ability to help Defense Base Act (DBA) claimants or their families in filing a claim and securing proper workers’ compensation benefits.
Our firm requires no up-front attorney fees for DBA cases. Our attorney fee is contingent based and will only be owed if we are able to win and collect funds for you.
