Robert Hicks Settles Birth Injury Case for $1.4M

Javerbaum Wurgaft Partner Robert Hicks settled a medical malpractice / informed consent case for $1,400,000 on behalf of a child born with brachial plexus injury.  Mr. Hicks argued that, in light of his client’s fetal macrosomia and the onset of shoulder dystocia, a cesarean delivery should have been considered and offered to the client’s mother as the safest method of delivery.
